😍 VC of the week:
This week we present you Elina Berrebi, partner and founder of Revaia.
Born to a Finnish mother and a Tunisian father, Elina studied in France. She attended preparatory classes before entering Polytechnique in 2006.
After her studies, driven by a passion for mathematics and finance, she explored various professional sectors: first in banking at Lazard, then at L'Elysée, then in research at Columbia. She then experimented with sovereign wealth funds, before joining the VC fund Eurazeo in 2013, where she gained experience in venture capital.
In 2018, she co-founded the vc fund Revaia, ex-Gaia, a late stage and mission-driven Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) oriented fund. The fund closed in September 2021 with a €250 million vehicle. This makes it the largest European VC fund raised by women. Among the fund's major investments: Welcome to the jungle or Aircall.
Today, Elina Berrebi and her co-founder Alice Albizzati are real role models for women in the entrepreneurial landscape. And just recently Elina was selected as one of the 40 Under 40 Rising Stars by Venture Capital Journal.
